My name is Pedro Palazón and I am an agronomist passionate about innovation in agriculture in a sustainable way. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to found four companies and serve as a production manager. These experiences have provided me with valuable management lessons and have allowed me to grow professionally.
One of the highlights of my career was when I had the opportunity to develop seven agricultural projects in Senegal for the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). These projects allowed me to apply my knowledge in a completely different environment, contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture in that region.
Currently, I have the privilege of leading a multidisciplinary team made up of doctors, biologists, agronomists and biotechnologists. The diversity of knowledge and skills within my team gives me the opportunity to grow professionally every day.
My specialty is focused on the development of biostimulants, products based on microorganisms such as biofungicides, biofertilizers, enzymes and secondary metabolites, as well as high assimilation fertilizers. I use objective and effective evaluation protocols to guarantee the quality and effectiveness of these products. I conduct research and efficacy trials in the laboratory, microcosm and experimental farms, working with more than 94 different crops.
In addition to my daily work, I actively participate in projects of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), Life+, Horizon 2020 and IBEROEKA programs. I also have the honor of being a speaker and trainer on issues related to soil health, microorganisms and biostimulants, sharing my knowledge and experience with other professionals in the sector.
Currently, I am focusing my professional career internationally, especially in the development of projects in countries like Portugal, Italy and China. The opportunity to work in different contexts and cultures gives me a global perspective and challenges me to adapt and find innovative solutions.
In addition to my work, I also co-organize the MICROBIOMA FORUM, a space dedicated to promoting the exchange of knowledge and advances in the field of the agricultural microbiome.
I am an active, dynamic and creative person. I am motivated by risky and innovative projects that challenge conventional limits. I firmly believe in the value of teamwork, where each member contributes their different abilities and opinions. I believe that this diversity is essential to drive innovation and achieve outstanding results in the agricultural field.
